Responsible Employer Policy
I&J seeks excellence in every aspect of its business and is committed to ensuring the fair pay and treatment of all employees. I&J ensures pay is in line with the London Living Wage or higher.

Our policy is to support and develop our employees and provide them with an inspiring, safe and positive working environment while meeting our business goals and legal requirements. By establishing and documenting our responsible employer policy we are ensuring we have clear and concise principles by which we engage with employees that can easily be upheld.

All staff are issued with a written contract and employee handbook on acceptance of employment which clearly documents the following:
1.       Hours of work, pay, probation period, absence and holiday and sick leave policy
2.       Grievance and disciplinary procedure
3.       Confidential information and data protection policy
4.       Service charge and management of tips policy
5.       Good performance reward policy and other company employee benefits
6.       Personal development and training policy

Personal Development, Training and Well Being Policy
All staff are required to complete a personal development plan in conjunction with their manager which is reviewed and updated every six months.

Within the PDP, employees are required to complete a well being plan to help management understand how best to support each individual employee’s mental and physical well being.

Fair Pay and Working Conditions
All staff are paid the London Living Wage as a minimum. All staff are not required to work more than 45 hours per week, have paid lunch breaks and are entitled to 28 days holiday (including bank holidays).

Employees are paid for time spent on training and personal development.
